PEGDRUMS Music presents: IN-SCHOOL PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS
Target Audience:
Elementary School & Middle School students, either the entire student body or those in the school music program
This all-female quintet performs a jazz-centered program demonstrating different styles, improvisation, and interactive scat singing. The group is unique in that the students have an opportunity to see female performers playing instruments, serving as positive role models for both the girls & boys in the audience.
The Ladies First Combo (a subset of the award-winning Ladies First Big Band) performs at area schools and concert venues. School performances normally include time for a short Q&A between students and the musicians, but a more in-depth clinic session can also be arranged.
